Cathy Trinh has been in the staffing and recruiting industry for eleven (11) years and has placed over 2000 candidates in various roles for companies, ranging from Fortune 100 to small private companies. She started her career in 1998 as a Technical Recruiter with Comforce Technical Services. Comforce is a publicly traded with offices world-wide in over 5 continents.
She is presently a Senior Executive Recruiter with Alliance Resource Group, a top-tier executive search firm in Southern California that specializes in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury and Audit. She has been with Alliance since 2005.
Previously, she held the position of Staffing Manager with Strategic HR Services, where she served as an in house recruiter. She is an active Board Member of Active OC, a children’s charity fundraising organization and has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Cal State Fullerton.

Event: San Onofre Camping Trip

Many of you have probably seen the posters advertising the camping trip to San Onofre which is taking place the weekend of October 23-25. Space is limited to approximately 30 students, depending on how comfortable you want to be in the sleep department! Three camping sites are together and the other two will already have RV’s on them with a tent available if there is a need.
Cost is $30 for Business Club students and $35 for non-business majors that may want to join us. This price includes your tent, meals for Friday night (1), Sabbath (3) and Sunday morning (1). You are on your own for transportation. We encourage car-pooling. Warm sleeping bag/pad (maybe extra blankets), personal items and clothing is needed for the weekend. There will be paperwork that needs to be completed for those going on the campout and especially for those driving. Evidence of insurance for the drivers along with students signing forms needed for insurance, etc. We will have those forms available by Wednesday. The schedule of events is as follows:
Friday evening
5:30 – 6:00 PM – evening meal (all meals will be served from Cheryl’s RV site)
6:30 – 7:00 PM – singing and worship
Campfire
Sabbath morning – (schedule tentative)
9 AM breakfast
11AM worship
12:30 – 1 PM lunch
Afternoon activities to be decided

Information: Applications are in my office for their Healthcare Leadership Program this next summer from June 14 - August 6, 2010. Snacks will be served.
Ben Moushon from Kettering Medical Center will be in the upstairs lobby from 4-6 PM to talk with students about their summer internships/Healthcare Leadership Development program. They are interested in any business major in their sophomore/junior year. I have a leadership development application that can be filled out and handed to him on Thursday if you are interested. I would strongly suggest as many of you as possible come by my office to pick up the applications and fill them out and provide Mr. Moushon with the application and your resume on Thursday. If you the student do not show an interest in the companies that come to our campus recruiting students, they will not want to return. And it may the year you want or need an internship or full-time employment. NOW IS THE TIME TO START YOUR NETWORK OF BUSINESS CONTACTS! Michael Levinsohn is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Lenco Mobile Inc., a leading value added service provider to the mobile phone industry. Lenco Mobile has operations in the United States, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia. Michael is an industry expert on mobile marketing, customer relationship management and loyalty programs. Prior to founding Lenco Mobile Inc., he was the Managing Director of 121 Marketing (Pty) Ltd, a company specializing in customer loyalty. Over the last twenty years, Michael has held positions as the CEO of three publicly quoted companies on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. He is also the founder of Sterling Trust (Pty) Ltd, a private equity company which he started in 1988.
